Youth Summit

A Howard County Youth
Summit will be held at Marriott’s Ridge High
School on April
27th from 8:30 am to
1:30 pm. The Summit
is being sponsored by Howard County Recreation
& Parks, The Locale
Children’s Board, Howard County Connections,
and the Columbia Association. The
goal of the Youth Summit is to hear youth voice
and empower them. Student
representatives from each Howard
County
high school will
address issues raised by the results of a
county-wide survey. Ten students from
each high school will meet for the day, discuss
the chosen topics, and propose
solutions.
